Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems

Under a U.S. legislation, all touring vehicles manufactured in the U.S. after January 1st, 2008 must be equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system, more frequently referred to as TPMS system.

If your vehicle is either a recent, new or imported model, it already comes with a TPMS system and when tire pressure needs adjustment, a dashboard warning signal alerts the driver to the situation.

TPMS systems require new and more advanced techniques and equipment to ensure proper wheel and tire maintenance and replacement. This is why very special care must be taken with TPMS technology so you can enjoy all of its benefits.

Your UNIPNEU adviser has the required training and expertise to provide adequate maintenance or repair needed on your vehicle TPMS system. To check the list of UNIPNEU dealers offering TPMS maintenance in your area, click on the Your Dealer tab featured on this Web site.
