Driving in the Rain

Aquaplaning (or hydroplaning)

When water accumulates on the roadway, your tires lose some of their grip, especially if they are worn. To avoid aquaplaning, regularly check your tires and their inflation pressure, try to avoid pools of water and slow down. If your vehicle is experiencing aquaplaning, avoid accelerating or braking. Move the gearshift lever into the neutral position (N) for an automatic gearbox, or press down the clutch pedal for a manual gearbox, and avoid any sharp steering motions. Remain calm while your vehicle recovers its traction.

Check with your UNIPNEU Dealer for more information.
