Approved for Rigorous Winters
Canada has adopted a detailed standard for tires. It allows consumers to identify tires designed specifically to feature greater traction power in rigorous winter conditions. North-American manufacturers add the letters M and S, as well as a pictogram of a mountain and snowflake, on at least one sidewall of car and light truck tires designed for our harsh winters.
